The ideal candidate for the Outside Sales Specialist position at Holland & Sherry should be self-motivated, disciplined, and entrepreneurial. Applicants will also need to have a basic-to-moderate understanding of wallcovering and leather sales. Success in this role is measured by activity and presentations as this position will be located outside the showroom.
QUALIFICATIONS TO BE CONSIDERED
• Is organized, punctual and personable.
• Possesses excellent attention to detail.
• Is highly proficient in the Microsoft Office suite and inclined to learn necessary CRM systems specific to Holland & Sherry.
• Has interior design industry experience, however this is not essential; our ideal candidate will be eager to learn and grow a career in interiors sales.
• Owns a car and is able to travel to appointments, as needed.
CANDIDATE RESPONSIBILITIES TO INCLUDE
• Cultivating client relationships as well as identifying, contacting and building new relationships within the design industry – specific to leather and wallcovering.
• Driving sales by presenting and selling Holland & Sherry products to design professionals for both residential and hospitality clientele.
• Producing and routinely updating target account lists of clients and sales strategies for each account.
• Promptly following up on all client queries.
• Corresponding with managing territory support staff as well as our client services and product leadership teams.
• Conducting weekly product presentations of Holland & Sherry with interiors designers and architects.
